What you need: |
- Personal computer with a minimum 500 MHz Pentium-class microprocessor (1 GHz recommended)
- 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended) ,
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista
- DVD reader and preferably a DVD writer
- About 5 GB of temporary available hard-drive space is necessary to convert DVDs.

Convert DVD to MPEG4: |
| Step1: Download DVD to AVI. |
Download DVD to AVI trial version for free and install it on your computer. Trial version only convert part of the movie,not the whole movie. Then order full version online and register it. Then you can use it without any limitation.

| If you order DVD-Cloner, you can download DVD to AVI like following. |
Run DVD-Cloner V, then click the red button  to open DVD to AVI introduction page. Click DVD to AVI box or download button to open the download page, then click the download text link to download DVD to AVI. Then double click the exe file to install it. |
| Step2: Run DVD to AVI. |
| You can run it by clicking DVD to AVI icon. You also can run it from DVD-Cloner. Click red button to run DVD to AVI, DVD-Cloner will exit automatically. |

| Step3: Select source and target. |
| If your source is DVD disc, please insert your DVD movie disc to DVD drive. Then click source drop down bar to choose this disc for source. If the source is on your hard drive, please click source folder button to choose your DVD movie IFO file on your hard drive. |

| Then click the target folder button to select a folder to save your target MPEG4 file. |
| Step4: Settings. |
Click option button  to open setting window. |

Choose "XviD MPEG-4 Codec" in Codec area. It will decides your target file will be Xvid MPEG-4 video.
You can use MPEG-4 file at:
- Digital television;
- Interactive graphics applications;
- Interactive multimedia (World Wide Web, distribution of and access to content)

| You also can set MPEG-4 video screen size for small , medium and full. Set width and height size. You can define the piece number in pieces item, you can define the 700MB/file, or 20 MB/clip. You also can hold the integrity of target file. |
| Click "Advance" to set speed and CUP type. Click "Chapter" to select chapters you want to convert to MPEG4. You also can change the audio and caption of your selected chapter. |
| Then save your settings. |
| Step5: Click start button to convert DVD movie to MPEG4. |
