What you need: |
- Pentium-II 450 MHz or faster processor
- 64MB of RAM
- 5GB free hard disc space for DVD-5 (10GB free hard disc space for DVD-9)
- DVD burners
- Windows Vista,XP, 2000
- Fullscreen DVD disc or fullscreen DVD on hard drive
- Widescreen DVD player

Convert fullscreen to widescreen: |
| Step1: Run DVD-Cloner V. |
| The trial version of DVD-Cloner V allow you to copy a whole DVD movie for free, so you can download the trial version to try one first. You also can order the full version to copy DVD movie without any limitation. |
| Step2: Make certain the source and target. |
| Insert your fullscreen DVD movie disc into DVD drive, and click source drop down bar to choose your disc for source file. If your fullscreen DVD file is on your hard drive, please click the source folder button to select your fullscreen DVD movie for source. |

You can save your target file to hard drive or burn to blank DVD disc directly.
If you want to burn to DVD disc and you have more than one DVD burner, please insert your blank widescreen DVD disc to one DVD burner, and choose it for your target in the target drop down bar.
If you don't have another DVD burner, please choose a folder for your target folder by clicking the target file folder button. |
| Step3: Settings. |
Click the option button  to open setting window. |

Choose 16:9 screen ratio for your target DVD file. The other items are 4:3 for standard fullscreen TV, and auto select to adjust size for optimal effect.
Except for special need, Auto select is highly recommended. The default is Auto select. |
If your DVD disc is early disc, please choose LIBC in read IO to get high speed. If your fullscreen DVD is latest DVD please choose the default setting - ASPI. If your fullscreen DVD has bad sector, you can define the value of bad sector skipping to skip some data and improve the speed.
You also can set other options, like reading speed, burning speed, D5 size, number of copies, etc. |

| Then click "OK" to save the settings. |
| Step4: Click start button to convert fullscreen DVD to widescreen DVD. |
Then DVD-Cloner will reading data from source to target in 30 to 40 minutes. If your target is DVD disc, it will complete others automatically.
If your target is folder, it will eject automatically when reading is finished. Insert your blank DVD disc to DVD burner, then it will burn DVD data to widescreen DVD disc in 10 minutes. |
