| Step1: Run DVD-Cloner V. |
| DVD-Cloner has two mode: Express mode for beginner, Expert mode for expert. Compression rate changing just in expert mode. When you run DVD-Cloner V, it will enter expert mpde automatically. |
| Step2: Make sure source and target. |
You can choose DVD Movie disc or DVD Movie in hard drive for your source file.
- Souce file in DVD disc: Insert your DVD disc into your DVD drive, and click the source drop-down bar to choose you DVD disc for your source file.
- Souce file in hard drive: Click source folder to select your DVD movie in hard drive for your source file.

| Then click the target file folder button to select a folder to save the target DVD movie file. |
| Step3: Settings. |

"Special features saving rate" is the control item of DVD copying with better picture quality.
This value identifies the percentage of the transcoded picture quality of special features to the original quality. If you find the picture of special features are coarse, you can increase this value.
This value from 10% to 50%. |
| Then click "OK" to save the settings. You also can set more options: |
- Read IO: Copy early DVD with LIBC, copy latest DVD and protected DVD with ASPI, SPTI is an alternative of ASPI and LIBC.
- Bad sector skipping: Skipping value between 0~10000. The higher the value is, the higher the speed will be. But big value may result it more valuable data losses. If you are not sure whether there are some bad sectors in your DVD, please use the default, 100.
- Reading speed: High, Mid, Low.
- Burning speed: The default is Maximum-- to use the highest speed compatible with the disc. The burning speed should match the DVD R/RW you use.

| You also can set your screen ratio, 16:9, 4:3 or auto select. DVD-Cloner also supports batch copy, you can define the number of DVD. |
| Step4: Click start to copy DVD with better picture quality. |
