How to copy DVD-5 |
DVD-5 is an acronym that means a DVD disc that is one-sided single-layer disc and can contain upto 4.38 gigabytes of data on it.
DVD-5 DVD-Video discs are nice, because DVD writers (this applies to both, DVD-R and DVD+R standards) can only write single layer discs.

| Step 1: Select source |

Please click on the drop-down bar and select the correct DVD driver or DVD burner.
The information of source DVD will be displayed in the info box. |

 |
Please click on the drop-down bar and select the correct DVD burner. Or you can click the button to select the path of hard drive, then the source DVD movie will be copied to your computer.

| Step 3: You can select anyone of the three copy modes |
| A Copy a DVD movie to a blank DVD-+R/RW |

| In this mode you can select movie only copy (remove menu, title, etc) |

| You can also customize the audio and subtitle |

 |

| C. Customize copy |
 |
| Make customized copy: copy your desired chapter(s) or adjust the compression rate. |

| Step 4: Start copying |
 |
Before the copying, some detailed information will be displayed in the info window. If you want to skip it, you can cancel it from the "Advance" option. |

You can define the number of discs to be copied in this window.
The Backup Process screen will be displayed and the backup will start. You can track the backup process via the progress bar. |

| Note: If you'd like your computer to shut down after the copying, close all other programs and select "shut down computer when it is done. |
